Sounds like a nightmare! From looking at the manual, there doesn’t seem to be a way to mute or reduce the volume of the sounds it produces. Might be worth trying to tape over the speaker on the thermostat to muffle the sound a bit.

The only problem I’m having is the dog gone beeping every single time it’s touched. My husband plays with it a lot at night and wakes up our daughter and myself everytime he does. I wish there was a way to mute the sound on it. The BEEPING is driving us crazy!!
