Where do find the model number on the thermostat? I have no manual.

Hi Charlie,

Depending on the model, either a factory reset could do the trick or you would need to contact Honeywell to have that specific device removed from their servers so it can be added again.

The instruction manual for the relevant model should provide more information.

I bought a home that has a Honeywell thermostat. I think the previous owner registered the thermostat, but didn’t delete it from his account. Because of this, I can’t add the device to my account. I don’t have any contact info for the old owner. What can I do?

I just recently moved into a Canadian rental condo. There is an old honeywell thermostat with no user instructions.

It had a small non lighted led screen with large up/down buttons right below it.

On the bottom, there is a off/on sliding switch on left side, 1/2/3 fan sliding switch on bottom center, and heat/cool sliding switch on right bottom.

When turned on, display just shows a temp of 72F, when pressing up/down buttons, nothing happens. Outside temp is 4c

When checking vents, I do feel some heat

It has been pointed out to me that I need to renew the battery to my Smartfit Central Heating Controls with 24 Hour room unit.
The Unit is working fine, all the functions work OK I think….but the display does not light up.
I have the User Guide but there are no details regarding changing the batteries if indeed I need to!
I also have the ‘Room Unit Installation Instructions’ which shows (T8617B or T8677B)
Any Ideas please. Regards Mike (Techy Idiot)

Hi TH411OU2005. And I can’t find in the Manuel how to fix the flashing year the rest of the screen is blank except for the select button I did everything from lookin at the breaker batteries ect.

Hi Lynn,

If you search for “TH1110D” above you should see the manual for the T1 Pro which is likely the one you are looking for.

Both the installation guide and user guide are there and they contain troubleshooting instructions which you can follow.

If you’re still struggling, then it may be time to call in the professionals to diagnose the problem.

My local gas company installed an old thermostat a few years ago as it was the only one to fit the space. I inadvertently held the middle button down too long and now it is all screwed up and only the fan comes on. I can’t find an owner’s manual anywhere online. Can you help me with the instruction manuel for Honeywell #TH1110D200 at least that picture looks like mine. It just says Honeywell and then bottom right it says Pro Series. It is square with only three buttons a – button blank button and a +. HELP it is getting hot and I can’t get the air to come on.

My wife is trying to switch our T1 non-programmable thermostat from Heat to Cool. I am not home so I can’t help her. She said it shows ‘Heat’ and ‘On’ but never ‘Cool’. She’s hitting ‘Mode’ and it flips between those two and never shows ‘Cool.’ We’ve had this unit for at least 4 years and we know that ‘Cool’ is an option. She cannot figure out what is wrong and I cannot find any help online. It is 85 degrees and cooking in that room and we need this thermostat to kick on our AC. We need help. We can’t find any help.
